Zoo park Punta Verde

The Punta Verde Zoo Park is the ideal place for the whole family !!! A few minutes from Bibione (VE) - (7.5 Km), is a zoo where you can spend an unforgettable day immersed in the nature of the park and where the whole family can get in close contact with nature, children discover new species of animals and through educational group games learn respect for nature and animals.
The Punta Verde Zoo Park offers you the following services:
- Bar refreshment area: open every day on the same days and times as the ParcoSelf-Service open from 13.04 to 27.04 only holidays and Easter holidays weather permitting; from 01.05 to 07.09 open every day.
- Souvenir shop
- Toilets / disabled facilities / changing tables for children / stroller rental and wheelchairs / trolleys for carrying things
- PIC-NIC indoor areas / PIC-NIC outdoor areas
- Free parking
- Play areas for children
The mission of the Punta Verde Zoo Park is based on four fundamental points:
- the education of one's own towards a greater culture and sensitivity towards the animal world and the environment, through targeted education programs aimed at the general public and at schools of all levels;
- species conservation through the participation of ex situ and in situ programs through the involvement of visitors who actively participate in awareness campaigns and fundraising activities that allow to safeguard endangered species directly in their places of origin, offering also an opportunity sustainable development to local populations
- research, through collaborations with Institutes such as Universities, Museums and Scientific Institutes in general.
Emotions for adults and children give them a day of leisure in a pleasant environment that encourages contact with nature, helping to respect it.
The park closes completely one hour after the entrance is closed, unless otherwise specified.
Please note that it takes at least 2 and a half hours for a visit to the Zoo Park ! The park observes the following times:
- April, May and June: from 01.04 to 30.06 open every day (including holidays) from 09.00 to 18.00.
- July and August: from 01.07 to 13.07 open every day (including holidays) from 09.00 to 18.00; from 14.07 to 24.08 open every day (including holidays) from 09.00 to 19.00; from 25.08 to 31.08 open every day (including holidays) from 09.00 to 18.00.
- September: from 01.09 to 07.09 open every day (including holidays) from 09.00 to 18.00; from 08.09 to 30.09 open every day (including holidays) from Monday to Friday from 09.00 to 17.00 (maximum output at 19.00) and Saturday and Sunday from 09.00 to 18.00.
